- the evolution of sustainable development paradigm over time,
- a contemporary definition of sustainable development,
- the consequences of disregarding environmental constraints/planetary boundaries for the functioning of socio-economic systems and for ensuring overall progress/well-being,
- the challenges of implementing the sustainable development goals at different spatial levels (global, regional, and local),
- the possibilities of integrating sustainable development dimensions into the educational process, and the role of education in implementing sustainable development and developing sustainability competences,
- young people’s contribution to sustainable development,
- good practices of sustainable development in Slovenia, Europe and worldwide: sustainable use of environmental resources (including renewable and non-renewable natural resources, biodiversity and ecosystem services, and space), ensuring food, energy, and water - security, tackling inequality and poverty, mitigating and adapting to climate change, making human activities more sustainable in terms of mobility, energy transformation and use, food production and supply, etc.
