Special topics in Medieval and Modern Art in Slovenia

During this lecture course special topics from the history of medieval and (mostly early) modern art will be discussed. Beside the topics from the present-day Slovenian territories this course can be dedicated to the art of Alpine regions of Central Europe and Adriatic Rim, as well as Central Europe and Italy in general; it is aimed to present the art in Slovenia as integrative part of a wider geographic area. The specific content of the lecture course is variable; every single year it is selected in concordance with current scientific research work of the lecturer. The course is aimed to introduce the students to in-depth research work on the topics on which they have some rudimentary knowledge from their B.A. courses.
