Basic developmental characteristics of morphological, oblikoskladnje, phraseological and sentence syntax of Slavic languages. Historical comparative placement of Slovenian syntactic phenomena within the framework of the Slavic syntactic development. Basic concepts and problems of historical syntax. Illustration of syntactic change (lexicalization, grammaticalization, etc..), illustrated on Slavic language material.
